I started experimenting with patchwork from the first few weeks of starting to create in glass. I tried many of the traditional and geometric patterns we are familiar with on quilts and cushions. Recently, however, I have been trying out freer patterns and placing more importance on the creation of swatches of glass "fabric" which I can then cut up and arrange in a variety of ways.
